What is CrossFit?

CrossFit methodologies utilize constantly varied functional movements, executed at high intensity across broad times and modal domains.   We train to increase our work capacities at whatever level of fitness our participates currently possess by developing scalable routines to meet the needs of all athletes.  Our goal is to achieve elite fitness through developing capabilies in the 10 physical skills that make up fitness: Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Accuracy, and Balance.  For more information regarding CrossFit check out the main page through our CrossFit Link and be sure to check out the CrossFit journal link for a more detailed explanation of the fundamentals of CrossFit.

Is CrossFit Dangerous?

There has been a great deal of controversy regarding CrossFit labeling it as dangerous.   We ask that all of our participants make an informed decision by reading the articles below and training smartly.  Additionally we ask that participants always train with supervision, stay hydrated and avoid supplements.
